Maintenance Electrician - 2nd & 3rd Shift | Columbia, PA | Union Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, motors, drives, high-voltage circuits, and control panels
• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance
• Work with PLCs, programmable drives, and motor controls
• Maintain and install facility electrical services including lighting, HVAC, and machinery
• Run conduit, pull wire, mount fixtures, and connect wiring for new equipment
• Read schematics, manuals, and blueprints to solve complex electrical issues
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient production

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required; technical schooling or apprenticeship preferred
• Strong electrical trade knowledge; experience with up to 480V 3-phase systems (higher voltage a plus)
• PLC and motor drive experience
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, welding, and CMMS a plus
• Previous maintenance or troubleshooting experience in a plastics molding or manufacturing environment helpful
• Physically fit, able to lift 50+ lbs and work on concrete production floors
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
