What It Takes to Master the Machines as a CNC Machinist

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of related CNC experience (including 2 years of manual machinist exerience)
• Experience in ERP systems
• Must be ableto understand M-Code and G-Code programming
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be ableto use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges

What Your Workday Looks Like

• Operate and control metal-cutting and related processing.
• Experience in training and mentoring others.
• Execute standard work and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist in training, assigning, and checking the work of less experienced machinists.
• Track and report shift performance using GEMBA boards and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Document all training provided.
• Perform quality audits and report PR's and ECN reports as required.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process related to assigned production cell(s).
