Job Title: ServiceNow Agentic AI / Virtual Agent (VA) Developer Location(s): Chicago, IL (Remote) Role Overview The ServiceNow Agentic AI / VA Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support Agentic AI / VA processes. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient workflows that align with procurement and finance objectives. This role will participate in the design of Virtual Agent experiences and lead integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise telephony/CTI platforms. You will participate in discovery workshops and partner with architects and business analysts to deliver Agentic AI capabilities (Now Assist, VA Skills, conversational flows) that reduce effort and improve CX/EX. Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development:
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications for Agentic AI / VA processes.
- Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations with Agentic AI / VA systems.
- Virtual Agent Conversation Flows: Implement and design user journeys
- ServiceNow to Telephony Integration - knowledge of various CTI technologies and integrating with ServiceNow
- Process Enablement:
- Implement modules for Agentic AI / VA.
- Ensure compliance with Agentic AI / VA policies and best practices.
- Integration:
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Testing & Deployment:
- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
- Documentation & KT:
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and enhance user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in ServiceNow development (Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scoped Apps).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Agentic AI / VA and interfacing modules.
- Understanding of Agentic AI / VA lifecycle.
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
- Agentic AI / VA related certifications.
- ITIL Foundation or Procurement certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow Agentic AI / VA development experience.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
