What to Expect

Shape the future of autonomous mobility by training and certifying operators in Tesla's FSD (Supervised) technology. You'll develop expertise in both technical systems and human behavior, ensuring operators can safely manage autonomous vehicles while collecting critical performance data. The role requires balancing instructional precision with real-world adaptability across diverse environments.

This opportunity will require the flexibility of traveling to domestic destinations, as necessary.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes at least one of your normal working days be a weekend day. Able to work a Day, Afternoon, or Night shift. The Afternoon and Night shift pays 10% in addition to the hourly base pay for the role.


What You'll Do
  • Be an expert in self-driving concepts with the ability to track data deeply, train drivers across various testing tracks, and provide constructive feedback to the team
  • Curriculum development and delivery to administer 40-hour training programs with scenario-based evaluations
  • Conduct hands-on vehicle readiness workshops covering sensor calibration and software validation
  • Review daily drive reports for technical accuracy and passenger interaction quality, along with maintaining training records for compliance and completion tracking
  • Implement feedback loops between operators and engineering teams
  • Translate complex FSD (Supervised) limitations into accessible passenger communication strategies
  • Operate Tesla engineering vehicles with FSD (Supervised) during 6-8 hour daily shifts, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort

What You'll Bring
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in current role as a vehicle operator
  • Proven instructional design experience with safety-critical technologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for creating training materials
  • Ability to standardize training across Day/Afternoon/Night shifts
  • Technical aptitude for explaining software status indicators to non-engineers
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, subject to drug testing in accordance with Tesla policy and applicable law

    Expected Compensation
    $34.00 - $42.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
