| Position Summary |
The Research Professional will work on multiple grant projects related to obesity and chronic disease management, active transportation, and traffic safety. They will be responsible for collecting both qualitative and quantitative data, including extracting data from crash reports, conducting focus groups and interviews, and administering surveys. They will be responsible for developing databases to store data, analyzing qualitative data using
MAXQDA software, and analyzing quantitative data using
SPSS and R. The Research Professional will be responsible for creating reports, presentations, and manuscripts based on findings. They will attend project staff meetings and work closely with other team members to complete all assigned duties. |
| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Proficient in Microsoft software including Power BI
- Capable of working independently and with a large and diverse team including faculty, staff, and students
- Display strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and able to create project reports, presentations, and publications.
- Demonstrated success with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Capable of performing data analysis using R, MAXQDA, and SPSS
