The Research Professional will work on multiple grant projects related to obesity and chronic disease management, active transportation, and traffic safety. They will be responsible for collecting both qualitative and quantitative data, including extracting data from crash reports, conducting focus groups and interviews, and administering surveys. They will be responsible for developing databases to store data, analyzing qualitative data using MAXQDA software, and analyzing quantitative data using SPSS and R. The Research Professional will be responsible for creating reports, presentations, and manuscripts based on findings. They will attend project staff meetings and work closely with other team members to complete all assigned duties.

Collect, analyze, and interpret data using quantitative methods (surveys, secondary sources) and qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups) and appropriate software (R, SPSS, Qualtrics, MAXQDA).

Create reports, presentations, and manuscripts from multiple projects.

Disseminate findings to internal and external stakeholders. Attend local, state, and national meetings as appropriate.

Attend project meetings and work closely with other team members and stakeholders in all assigned duties.
