Responsibilities:

Are you ready to lead with confidence and compassion? As a Charge Nurse in our operating room at Rust Medical Center. In this role you'll be a vital part of our leadership team-working alongside the Nursing Director, RN Manager, and RN Assistant Manager to keep everything running smoothly.

In this role, you'll:

  • Guide and support your team during each shift, ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain quality processes for an outstanding care experience.

  • Champion excellence by promoting best practices and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.

  • Step in to provide direct patient care when needed-because you lead by example.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

  • ACLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

  • PALS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

  • At least 1 year of OR Experience Preferred
