Overview ** This is a forecasted opportunity for upcoming work** Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Senior Nuclear Engineer to support ongoing operations in Oak Ridge, TN. This position plays a vital role in advancing critical mission objectives within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment. As a trusted partner to government agencies and national laboratories, Omega Technical Services supports some of the nation's most complex and high-impact programs. Through these strategic collaborations, Omega contributes directly to the strength, security, and sustainability of the U.S. Nuclear Security Enterprise. Responsibilities The Senior Nuclear Engineer provides technical leadership and subject-matter expertise in nuclear and radiological analysis and in the preparation of safety documentation for DOE nuclear facilities. This role supports the development, review, and maintenance of Documented Safety Analyses (DSAs), Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs), and supporting safety basis documentation in accordance with applicable DOE standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Nuclear Engineer serves as a technical authority, mentor, and reviewer for complex nuclear safety evaluations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform nuclear and radiological analyses supporting safety basis documentation for DOE nuclear facilities. Education Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program. Qualifications
