Job Title: Order Mgmt Deliver Operator 2

Location(s): Cary, NC
(Remote)

Business Purpose

  • Provide operational continuity while the internal team focuses on SAP system testing and validation.
  • Support Customer Service Material Logistics (CS ML) and Order Administration functions.
Work Arrangement
  • Location Requirement: Must reside in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Cary (RDU), NC area.
    • Preference due to IT support needs and quarterly in-person meetings.
  • Training: Virtual (shadowing + 1:1 via Microsoft Teams)
Scheduling
  • Shift Coverage: AM and PM schedules.
  • On-Call: Rotation every 8 weeks.
  • Flexibility: Candidates must be willing to cover other shifts during staffing shortages.
  • Shift availability must be clearly listed on resume.
Available Schedules
  • Monday-Friday | 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (2 positions).
  • Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2 positions).
  • Sunday-Thursday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 position).
  • Tuesday-Saturday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 position)
Core Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound phone calls and emails related to orders.
  • Process, research, and escalate spare part, tool, and radioactive source orders.
  • Track shipments, backorders, and delivery exceptions.
  • Expedite orders and resolve semi-complex fulfillment issues.
  • Coordinate with:
  • Field Service Engineers.
    • Technical Support Engineers.
    • Customer Care Center.
    • Parts Returns teams.
    • External vendors and carriers (XPO, DHL, FedEx).
  • Reconcile shipments and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Use internal systems and tools including SAP, Outlook, FedEx/DHL platforms
Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience:
    • 1+ year of professional work experience.
    • Not entry-level / not straight out of high school.
    • Call center experience not required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
    • Comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
  • SAP Experience:
    • Not required (highly customized environment).
