Job Title: Human Resources Generalist


Summary: The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for operating the daily functions of the Human Resource Department, including talent management, interviewing, onboarding, employee benefits, and employee relations.



Starting Wage: $90,000



The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



Hiring and Onboarding:



  • Executes the talent acquisition strategy for the organization, effectively hiring qualified candidates for immediate open positions, both Direct Hires and Temp to Hires.
  • Builds talent pool from various sources, including networking activity, focusing on passive candidates and referrals.
  • Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates through, but not limited to, social media posts, high school recruiting, career fairs, website posting and other types of recruiting events.
  • Manages the ADP Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including requisition creation, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Actively recruits for direct hire candidates for a three-shift manufacturing plant, as well as engaging with temporary agencies for candidates.
  • Maintains contracts and insurance certificates with agencies.
  • Conducts E-Verify, background checks and drug screens to ensure employee eligibility verifications.
  • Oversees the on-boarding process for new hires, including orientation, culture, and ongoing evaluation of the new hire.
  • Maintains physical files for employees and their documents, benefits, medical, and other personnel records.


Employee Relations:



  • Effectively communicates company policies, and internal procedures during new hire orientation to educate employees about NTN, benefit offering, open enrollment, and HR policies.
  • Responds promptly to inquiries directed to the HR Department.
  • Investigates employee complaints, creates documentation, recommends outcomes.
  • Reviews and audits weekly invoices to ensure accuracy.


Benefits and Wellness:



  • Facilitates the annual wellness screening and flu program for employees.
  • Contributes to the annual open enrollment by assisting employees with their elections.
  • Maintains confidential employee records.
  • Organize and communicate annual company events such as the wellness program, blood drive, open enrollment, credit union, and other events.
  • Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Payroll, and Applicant Tracking software required, ADP Knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to establish trust and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.



Physical Demands



Work conditions are typical of a normal office environment at a manufacturing facility. It requires sitting, and standing throughout the workday, use of computer and office equipment, and the ability to move safely through the manufacturing plant.
