As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for clients and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for employees and customers.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as directed in the event of incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
