Overview
The Manager of Facilities oversees facility operations and directs staff maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment, while managing processes and special projects. It manages Materials Management functions through the Purchasing Assistant and leads support services supervisors, technicians, and mechanics across hospitals, clinics, and assigned facilities. The position partners with Safety/Security to address site-specific safety and security needs and ensures regulatory compliance with CMS, TJC, DHS, IDPH, and other authorities to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma required, with minimum six years healthcare facilities supervisory experience CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE N/A ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Strong project management and technical skills Clear oral communication Proficient computer systems use INFORMATION ACCESS Partner may access patient care information needed to perform their job duties.
