Work Schedule
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position provides the day-to-day administration for the Office of Student Development and Success in the College of Engineering.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
Essential Job Duties
This position provides the day-to-day administration for the Office of Student Development and Success in the College of Engineering. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Greet the public and answer requests for general information.
  • Organizing for Student Success programs, including catering, space reservations, and parking logistics etc.
  • Ordering supplies needed for courses and programs.
  • Using NinerEngage, Email, Web, and Social Media platforms to encourage participation in student programs
  • Assist students with questions regarding registration or locating advisor information.
  • Report and track building issues
  • Communicate with faculty, students, staff, and others

Other Work Responsibilities
Provide support as needed to assist other staff and administrators in the Department.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Documents, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Organizational skills with digital and physical files
  • Interest in supporting student success through learning about the student programs and being an advocate for the students, faculty, and staff in the department.
