Ph.D. in neurosciences and five years of postdoctoral experience required in fields of biochemistry, neuroscience, and/or bioengineering. Candidate will focus on investigating advanced studies of the preBotzinger Complex respiratory rhythmogenic function utilizing extensive technical expertise in chemo- and optogenetic manipulation, advanced in vivo neurosurgical procedures, and complementary molecular histology in mice.
