Job Title: Administrative Functional Support Location(s): Mount Storm, WV Position Overview This role executes day-to-day functional and administrative operations within a defined organizational unit. The position applies established procedures, uses relevant IT systems, and supports decision-making activities through preparation of routine reports, documentation, and data maintenance. It may exist across various business functions, including EHS, R&D, Marketing, IT, Sales, Legal, Project Management, HR, Finance, and Customer Service. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all routine functional or administrative operations in alignment with established processes, procedures, and system requirements.
- Prepare specialized routine reports, correspondence, statistics, and other documentation to support operational decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and data repositories; enter and update data using Office applications and specialized software packages.
- Complete periodic and ad hoc reports to support management reviews and functional decision processes.
- Administer programs, projects, workflows, or processes specific to the supported organizational unit.
- Apply and adapt established procedures to resolve practical issues, including handling non-complex inquiries from internal or external stakeholders.
- Operate major components-or the full spectrum-of dedicated standard software tools used in the respective functional area.
- Identify and manage routine deviations or unexpected situations by applying appropriate procedural solutions based on experience.
Impact and Working Context
- The incumbent routinely manages multiple procedural choices and must select and apply the correct process steps in various operational scenarios.
- While guidance and procedures are available, the role requires practical judgment to address routine exceptions and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Work outputs have direct impact on service quality, record accuracy, decision support, and operational continuity within the assigned unit.
Required Experience
- Completed 3-year vocational training program.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a comparable administrative, technical, or operational role.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Foundational understanding of functional principles, procedures, and work routines relevant to the assigned domain.
- Practical skills obtained through structured vocational training and professional experience.
- Proficiency in standard office applications and specialized software packages relevant to workflows (e.g., document management, reporting tools, or department-specific systems).
- Ability to manage routine administrative tasks, maintain data integrity, and produce accurate documentation and reports.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage repetitive processes while addressing basic procedural variations.
