We're seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Reporting - IC2 to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Lake Mary FL In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
* Prepares and reviews accounting statements on behalf of clients.
* Assists in working with auditors and clients to ensure statements are accurately produced and verified on a timely basis.
* Reviews fund balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and statement of shareholders equity to ensure reported numbers are reconciled.
* Drafts accounting statements and reports, incorporating fund calculations, for clients to review fund performance.
* Ensures completeness and accuracy of disclosure and that financial reports meet Corporate and applicable regulatory standards.
* Assists in collaborating with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.
* Assists in developing materials for presentation to Board of Directors.
* Escalates more complex accounting discrepancies to senior team members.
* Provides guidance to less experienced team members and may have people management responsibilities in some geographies.
* Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
* Experience in accounting preferred.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with auditors, clients, and internal teams.
