What to Expect

This position is expected to start around January 2026 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2026) or continuing into Summer 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

To keep pace with this growth, the North America Robotaxi Operations team is seeking a dynamic problem solver with exceptional ability to challenge us to think differently. The right person is hungry to dive into critical challenges within our Robotaxi Program, breaking down silos and partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Tesla to drive the business forward.



What You'll Do
  • Identify critical problem statements for the business and employ first-principles approach to find creative solutions
  • Dive into data to uncover opportunities to reduce waste in processes and improve customer experience
  • Shadow and build relationships with customer-facing Service teams to understand the business and challenges in their day-to-day work
  • Work closely with cross-functional (engineering, sales, finance, supply chain) teams to align strategies and goals
  • Develop and launch new products, processes, tools, and resources that drive customer experience and improve brand loyalty
  • Structure pilots, track and measure results, iterate then launch solutions that can scale across different markets to drive operationalefficiency
  • Regularly present written and verbal proposals to improve the business to senior leaders across Tesla and adjust strategy based onfeedback

    Expected Compensation
    $18.39 - $30.29/hour + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
