We are seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on commercial and/or residential roofing projects. This role is responsible for managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating materials and equipment, and delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of roofing systems, construction best practices, and effective project coordination. Key Responsibilities Project & Field Management Supervise day-to-day on-site roofing activities and ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, labor crews, materials, and equipment. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential delays or risks. Conduct daily jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, safety, and adherence to project requirements. Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA and company safety policies on all job sites. Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure crews follow proper PPE protocols. Identify and mitigate potential hazards before work begins. Communication & Documentation Serve as the main on-site point of contact for project managers, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors. Maintain updated job logs, daily reports, photos, punch lists, and site documentation. Communicate schedule updates, progress, and field issues in a timely manner. Quality Control Ensure all roofing installations-shingles, metal, TPO, EPDM, coatings, or other systems-meet or exceed manufacturer and industry standards. Perform inspections throughout each phase and confirm all work passes required inspections before sign-off. Manage final punch list completion and ensure delivery of a clean, professional finished product. Qualifications 3+ years of superintendent, foreman, or lead installer experience in commercial and/or residential roofing. Strong knowledge of various roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingle, metal, etc.). Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications. Valid driver's license; ability to travel between job sites.
