Genesis10 is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time position with a client located in Springfield, OH.

Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
Shift:
2nd shift, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (40-45 hours/week)

Summary:
Genesis10 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to support 2nd shift operations for a manufacturing client in Springfield, OH. This role is onsite and crucial in leading maintenance activities, ensuring safety compliance, maximizing equipment uptime, and supporting a high-performance team environment.

Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership
  • Drive completion of all safety corrective actions on time.
  • Perform audits and create follow-up work orders for identified items.
  • Lead safety responsibilities including LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE, Confined Space, JSAs, securing work areas, overhead safety, and responding as the responsible party during any injury-related situation.
  • Complete pre-task plans for complex jobs involving multiple trades.
  • Complete "Take Two" cards for all non-routine work.
  • Know shelter and rally points; account for all team members during emergencies.
Daily Activities
  • Complete utilization forms.
  • Offer overtime per contract rules and maintain tracking.
  • Review the down-equipment list and drive actions for closure.
  • Respond to all calls for assistance on the production floor.
  • Manage scheduled work and escalate issues preventing execution.
  • Assign work to support scheduled maintenance and reactive needs.
  • Ensure daily start-up sheets are completed and updated with new information.
  • Support organization of the shop and materials (POU or line-side).
  • Maximize equipment availability by improving team response, addressing root causes, enhancing fault detection, and partnering with engineering/vendors.
  • Add required actions into countermeasure tracking; enter corrective maintenance work orders following ICAs and notify management.
  • Work with the reliability engineer on PCAs as needed.
Weekly Activities
  • Meet BPD goals and update metrics and countermeasures.
  • Perform at least one LOTO audit weekly and upload tracking documentation.
  • Audit and sign off on team member cart safety sheets.
  • Complete Leadership Standard Work.
  • Complete scheduled layered audits.
  • Attend all team meetings unless excused by management.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience (required)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with hands-on maintenance experience (required)
  • Ability to lead teams, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Springfield, OH
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
