Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe's all about. We give everyone-from emerging artists to global brands-everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We're passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We're on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

Join Adobe's Experience Manager (AEM) Customer Engineering team-the expert group at the front lines of helping enterprises craft, deliver and optimize digital experiences at scale. Our team supports AEM developers and business users across the globe, guiding them through performance tuning, problem solving, debugging complex issues and expanding what's possible with AEM as a Cloud Service.

As an AEM Customer Engineering Intern, you'll get hands on exposure to one of the most powerful enterprise Content Management Systems in the world. You'll work closely with AEM experts to build internal tools that enhance customer support efficiency, improve workflows and streamline team operations. This is an incredible opportunity to learn how high scale systems are supported in production and to grow your technical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative, innovative environment.

The work you'll do is unique-you'll dive into Adobe Experience Manager's modern cloud stack, which touches technologies such as:

  • Java, Sling, and OSGi frameworks

  • Adobe I/O Runtime and microservices

  • CI/CD automation through AEM Cloud Manager

  • Frontend frameworks like React and GraphQL

If you thrive in solving technical puzzles, enjoy working on tools that make other engineers more efficient, and want to contribute to real customer impact-this role is for you.

All 2026 Adobe interns will be co-located hybrid. This means that interns will work between their assigned office and home. Interns will be based in the office where their manager and/or team are located, where they will get the most support to ensure collaboration and the best employee experience. Managers and their organization will determine the frequency they need to go into the office to meet priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Learn AEM's technology stack-from authoring to publishing, from the backend (Sling, OSGi, Oak) to frontend frameworks (HTL, React).

  • Design and develop internal tools and automations to help Customer Engineering streamline diagnostics and support workflows.

  • Analyze and improve existing processes by identifying efficiency opportunities and building practical solutions.

  • Solve and investigate AEM issues, learning debugging techniques used in enterprise environments.

  • Contribute to internal documentation and wikis to support continuous information flow.

  • Engage in team discussions and standups, learning agile workflows and customer support methodologies.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Product Engineering and Customer Success teams to understand cross functional operations.
