About the Job

Job Duties:
Attending all of the in-person labs to help answer questions or assist with microscopy.
Must give one scheduled office hour per week. Grading exams, problem sets, laboratory exercises, homework assignments, and other assignments where the grading criteria are objective.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant requirements and responsibilities: Must have completed the GCD 4111 Histology course with a grade of B or better. Must be able to attend the in-person laboratory meetings (TTh 11:15 am - 12:55 pm, MCB 3-146; from Jan 20, 2026 - May 04, 2026) and be available for office hours during the week. Must be able to commit to approximately 10 hours/week.

About the Department

The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development comprises faculty from both the Medical School and the College of Biological Sciences. Faculty members are engaged in research in three key disciplines of the department-genetics, cell biology and developmental biology.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $16.25 - $16.75 hourly; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
