Senior Program Manager

LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA

SALARY RANGE: $140-$160,000 annually

JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried

CLEARANCE: Top Secret

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to directly support the USAF Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/HNJ), which is within the C3I and Networks Directorate (AFLCMC/HN) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Master's in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
  • OR Bachelor's in a related field and at least 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • MUST have an active US Top Secret clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101
  • Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
  • Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
  • Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
  • Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
  • Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
  • Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
