City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Provider Specialty Cardiology Overview: Join Sentara Medical Group as an Advanced Practice Provider supporting our Electrophysiology Cardiology service line. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled, collaborative team of physicians and APPs while providing high quality care to adult EP patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a surgical and procedural focused role with meaningful autonomy and a strong support structure. Position Highlights Full time schedule, four ten hour days, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Inpatient and outpatient role with approximately 70 percent inpatient and 30 percent outpatient responsibilities Average weekly patient volumes include 20 patients in the clinic and 50 patients in the hospital Electrophysiology focused care, including first assist responsibilities Procedures include cardioversions and loop implants performed independently, first assist in ablations, and performing access and closure independently Call required every fifth weekend. Call window is Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Call is phone based only with no in house coverage.
