Job Description

The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant is responsible for the overall financial and health of the product(s) and contributes to achieving profit and growth targets for an insurance product(s). This position will analyze and present complex data and facts to support recommendations on potential initiatives, interacting with other departments in and out of Allstate Dealer Services. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test pricing & profitability models to support accurate pricing decisions.

  • Design and validate admin fee structures, ensuring alignment with profitability and strategic objectives.

  • Analyze and monitor profitability impacts of pricing structures; provide recommendations for optimization.

  • Create, implement, and track pricing incentive programs, including performance measurement and reporting.

  • Manage and oversee pricing exceptions, ensuring proper implementation, documentation, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., actuarial, underwriting, finance, operations) to integrate admin fee strategies into broader pricing and product initiatives.

  • Perform detailed analyses (e.g., cost modeling, market benchmarking, financial impact) to inform admin fee decisions.

  • Develop documentation, procedures, and tools to support consistent application of admin fee policies and processes.

  • Communicate results and insights to leadership; recommend adjustments to strategies based on performance and market conditions.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, financial modeling, or product management within insurance or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (Excel, SQL, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions.
  • Project management skills with experience in leading initiatives from concept to implementation.

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance pricing.
  • Knowledge of distribution channel strategies and partner pricing models.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 70,500.00 - 124,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
