Position Summary The Windows 10/11 Upgrade Technician will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting large-scale operating system upgrade projects across enterprise environments. This role involves imaging, deployment, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth migration of user data and applications while minimizing downtime and maintaining compliance with organizational standards. Key Responsibilities * Perform Windows 10/11 upgrades for desktops and laptops, ensuring compatibility with hardware and enterprise applications. * Utilize deployment tools such as SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, PXE Boot, and other imaging solutions to streamline upgrade processes. * Back up and migrate user data, profiles, and settings to ensure seamless transition during OS upgrades. * Troubleshoot upgrade-related issues, including driver conflicts, application compatibility, and network connectivity problems. * Collaborate with IT teams to schedule upgrades, communicate timelines, and provide end-user support during and after migration. * Document upgrade procedures, maintain accurate asset records, and update ticketing systems with progress and resolutions. Required Qualifications * Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 imaging and deployment in enterprise environments. * Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other OS deployment tools. * Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues. * Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments. * Excellent communication and customer service skills for supporting end-users during upgrades. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Salina, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
