Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while primarily driving throughout the site. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter potential security-related risks within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and directions, while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
