As a Security Guard - Media Facility Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
• Complete required reports and logs detailing security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related needs specific to the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
