As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Specialist in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment for all. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises, verifying credentials as needed to help maintain a secure environment.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to address security-related concerns specific to the technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience in access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
