Role and Responsibilities

As an Internship - Software Engineer (GEM), you will actively participate in developing software solutions that drive ASML's technological advancements. In this internship, you will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive environment.

  • Design, develop, and test software for advanced semiconductor equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Analyze user needs to create practical and effective software features
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems to ensure system reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and share constructive feedback with your peers
  • Document processes, solutions, and progress to support project transparency
  • Engage with mentors and team members to expand your technical knowledge
Education and Experience

You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is beneficial. Experience with SDLC, VCS, and TDD is required and will help you excel in the Internship - Software Engineer (GEM) role. Academic or project experience with embedded systems, algorithms, or machine learning is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
