The Customer Support Organizationis responsible forthe installation, qualification, repair, and maintenance of the ASML systems at the customer site andis responsible forthe necessary transfer of knowledge to the customer. Local Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customers within a specific region. Job Mission

The Customer Support organizationis responsible forthe installation, qualification,repairand maintenance of the ASML systems at our customer site andis responsible forthe necessary transfer ofknow-howto the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform qualification,repairand maintenance for the customers within the specific region.

The Job Mission involves being an essential part of a new site start-up Customer Support team for Samsung as they build their second US based high techfabin Taylor, TX.The competency team will work at Samsung in Taylor, TX providing support for atop notchservice organization as you start-up and ramp Samsung's production on a new EUV fleet.

Job Description

As a member of the EUV Tech Support team, the Tech Support Engineer(TSE)is responsible forprovidingtechnicalexpertiseto theFab Support teamand Customer duringmachine issue escalations,complex repairexecution,and sequence preparation.The TSEdrives issue resolution and providesstructural follow-up in order to improve ASML procedures and ways of working at local sites.The TSE is alsoresponsible for monitoring machine healthparameters ineffortto preventunscheduled downtime.The holder of this position reports to the EUVTech Support Managerand provides indirect and direct support to customers, and direct escalation andtechnicalsupport to operations.

  • Ensure all service actions areperformed in a safe environment and drive towardsa proactive culture of safety first.

  • Efficientlysolvemachine issues by collaborating with local support teams, the customer, and global support groups.

  • Provideflexiblein-fabsupport as needed for new, specialized, or complex repair actions withfirst-time rightattitude.

  • Support the Fab and Planning team in complex service action sequence creation and review.

  • Share knowledge and cross-train others in order to gain organizational flexibility and self-sufficiency.

  • Perform data analysis andproactive monitoringto prevent unscheduled downs.

  • Developand implementbest-known-methodsto drive optimized shift-to-shift performance.

  • Improve service mix and structural issue documentation including initiation, review,and improvement rollout.

  • Understand and drive continuous improvement towards ASML's performance and cost KPI targets.

  • Present data-driven summaries to the customer, including problem statement, root cause, and solution with timeline.

  • Providetimelyfeedback to customer questions in a clear, professional manner.

  • Perform administrative and coordination duties, including shift/teampass down, service orders,systemhealthand monthly reports on an independent basis.

Competency Top & Bottom: The holder of thispositionwillbe responsible fortheScanner (Top and Bottom modules)of the Scanner, consisting ofatmospheric and vacuumrobots andstagesthat transfer and hold customermaterialforlithographic exposureat nanometer scale.This position will require specialized diagnostic and HW skillsetsin order tonarrow down machine issues, replace critical components, and qualify system within set timelines.

Competency Drive Laser: The holder of thispositionwillbe responsible fortheSourceVessel and Tin modulesused forEUVplasma generation and the Trumpf CO2 Drive laser.This position will require specialized diagnostic and HW skillsets in order to narrow down machine issues, replace critical components, and qualify system within set timelines.In this role, you will cross-trainand work closelywith the Trumpf and ILP engineers.

Senior Field Service Engineer 1 - Education and Experience
  • BS degree in an Engineering field; or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience required.

  • Must have 7+ years of relevant work experience in engineering.

Senior Field Service Engineer 2 - Education and Experience
  • BS degree in an Engineering field; or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience required.

  • Must have 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering.

Other Information
  • Able to Work Compressed Work Week schedule (Day or Night, 12hr shifts, 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00).

  • Position requires up to 40% travel, and the willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Valid driver's license and passportrequired.

  • Ability to travel inUSand internationally.
