In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to: - Manage project information, including hard-copy and electronic files - Coordinate information flow between project participants, including subconsultants, and if appropriate between project team and the client - Attend project meetings and prepare detailed minutes of meetings - Develop presentations based on input from project team members - Develop and track project schedules for meetings and deliverables - Monitor, update and review financial data - Prepare draft monthly progress reports - Track and ensure compliance with contract requirements - Use processes and tools established on projects - Develop and assist in preparation of schedules - Prepare various reports - Demonstrate understanding of project controls tools - Assist in schedule baseline and schedule update reviews - Assist in costs estimate development and review
- Track and coordinate submittals and RFI reviews amongst various disciplines and engineers of record.
- Organize and file contractor submitted documents.
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports
- Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
This position is designated as remote. The selected candidate will perform all job responsibilities from their home office and is expected to maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity and confidentiality. Periodic travel to client sites may be required to support business needs.
