Responsibilities

SSOE is committed to inspiring the next generation of engineering and construction management professionals by providing employment opportunities to students interested in exploring the profession. Through SSOE's apprenticeship program, students will gain hands on experience with electrical controls systems. The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out as required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

    Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
  • Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
  • Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
  • On-time and regular attendance is required


Qualifications

  • Current high school student with an interest in exploring a career in one of the STEM fields (science, engineering, technology and math); Junior or Senior academic year preferred.
  • Will consider students who have graduated from High School and have enrolled in first year of college education.
  • Approved Ohio work permit is required.
