Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Director of the Raleigh Market, who will oversee all of our Raleigh branches in North Carolina.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Develops and leads the strategic direction for business development, sales, and service in the Raleigh Market to expand loan and share balances and increase market share. Collaborates with senior leadership, including the Chief Impact Officer and Chief Operations Officer, to align strategic goals and key initiatives.
- Builds and executes an annual business development plan that meets budgeted objectives, including proactive outreach to prospective partners, businesses, and community organizations. Allocates at least 50% of time to direct business development activities.
- Identifies, evaluates, and secures high-value business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels unique to the Raleigh Market. Cultivates strong relationships with community stakeholders, business leaders, and referral sources to grow membership and brand visibility.
- Partners with Marketing and senior leaders to create and deploy targeted campaigns that support member acquisition and market expansion goals.
- Provides coaching, support, and tools to help team members achieve sales and service goals. Builds and develops a high-performing sales and service team proficient in the Elevating the Langley Experience (ELE) Model and consultative selling.
- Serves as the primary liaison between senior management and front-line managers to ensure alignment of business development and sales strategy across the Raleigh Market.
- Analyzes market trends, demographic data, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for new product offerings and expand market presence. Provides data-informed recommendations for mid-course corrections.
- Monitors business development, sales, and service performance; ensures timely execution of outreach efforts and marketing communications across all member contact points.
- Directs Raleigh Branch Managers to optimize member engagement, drives goal achievement, and sustains a motivated workforce aligned with Langley's values.
- Represents Langley at trade events, community functions, and networking activities to build relationships and increase visibility in the market.
- Maintains expert knowledge of Langley's products, services, and competitive position. Stays informed on regulatory and compliance issues, including BSA and lending-related requirements, and provides input for policy updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, equivalent experience in a customer facing financial institution or retail sales role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- A minimum of seven years of supervisory experience is required.
- Proven track record of business development and partnership building in financial services or related industries is required. Market expansion experience in a competitive environment strongly preferred.
