As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the property. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. Deliver outstanding customer service and support a people-first culture built on integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed security-related response.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, armed as required, throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure operational environment.
  • Remain alert to unusual activity or potential threats, and communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervisors and/or law enforcement when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
