Role Overview We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems. This includes assembly, analysis, documentation of results, construction of developmental assemblies and sub-assemblies, and quality testing. The role supports design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. Responsibilities * Work within a team environment to support electrical wiring design needs and assist manufacturing with wiring integration. * Route wiring harnesses in a 3D environment in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., AS50881) and release wiring installations. * Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to quickly and efficiently resolve technical challenges. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military or commercial aircraft OR * Master's degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience. * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and program-specific access within a reasonable timeframe. * Self-starter with minimal supervision required. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio). * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with solid modeling and design tools (e.g., NX, Siemens Teamcenter, CATIA, SolidWorks). * Ability to demonstrate independent, creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities. * Experience integrating components into larger systems. * Project management experience, including scheduling and technical performance oversight. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Melbourne, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $76.00/hr.
