Department:School of EducationDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:Clerical and Administrative Support* Perform office duties including answering phones, scheduling, filing, correspondence, and record-keeping. * Provide administrative support for retention activities, student interventions, and program data collection. * Assist with the coordination of meetings, workshops, and special events related to student retention and accreditation. Retention and Student Success * Maintain records of student enrollment, progression, and retention. * Assist advisors and faculty by preparing reports on student persistence and identifying at-risk students. * Support student outreach, mentoring, and follow-up activities. Data Management and Reporting * Enter and update information in assessment and student databases (e.g., LiveText, spreadsheets, or institutional systems). * Collect, organize, and maintain data related to student performance, program outcomes, and accreditation requirements. * Prepare reports, charts, and summaries for use in accreditation, grants, and institutional planning. Accreditation and Compliance Support * Assist with preparing evidence and documents for CAEP, Title II, and state reviews. * Compile supporting data and maintain organized electronic and physical files for accreditation. * Track submission of required forms and information from faculty and students. Communication and Liaison * Serve as a point of contact for retention and data-related inquiries within the SOE. * Communicate with faculty, staff, and external offices regarding deadlines, data requests, and reporting needs. * Prepare correspondence, agendas, and meeting notes for assessment and accreditation committees. Other Duties * Provide general office support for the School of Education as needed. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean or designee. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * At least two (2) years of experience in office/clerical work. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn database systems. * Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in education, Business, Data Management, or related field. * Experience working in higher education or student services. * Familiarity with accreditation processes or institutional reporting. * Experience with student data systems (LiveText, Banner, Watermark, or similar platforms).
