Bookstore Attendant

Staffmark is hiring a Bookstore Attendant to support a busy university bookstore in Dayton, OH. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is ready to contribute to a welcoming and organized retail space.

Pay: $12.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with purchases and product inquiries
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Restock merchandise and maintain a clean sales floor
• Support inventory management and maintain stock records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or cash handling experience
• Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise
• Flexible and reliable work ethic
