This is a 12-month, full-time hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.


Summary
The Growth Marketing Subscription Acquisition Manager supports subscription growth initiatives across entertainment and sports services. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to drive activation, conversion, and subscription performance through data-driven strategies and optimization. The position contributes directly to broader team and organizational goals by enhancing efficiency, supporting streamlined workflows, and improving subscription outcomes.

Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in subscription marketing, growth marketing, or digital acquisition. They have a passion for entertainment, sports, and subscription-based business models with a strong foundation in data-driven strategy. They are proficient in A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization, and familiar with on- and off-platform acquisition tactics, recurring revenue models, and CRM or lifecycle marketing systems. They are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners such as product, engineering, analytics, creative, and business development. The candidate can work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting flexibly to shifting priorities and timelines. Strong written and verbal communication, exceptional attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving skills with a proven record of driving customer acquisition and subscription growth are essential.

Job Description
In this role, the Growth Marketing Subscription Acquisition Manager will develop and optimize acquisition strategies that drive subscription growth across entertainment and sports offerings. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, product, engineering, design, business development, and analytics teams to execute programs that increase activation, conversion, and recurring revenue. Responsibilities include designing and implementing A/B tests, operationalizing testing roadmaps, identifying performance opportunities, and enhancing acquisition funnels. The position also supports ongoing optimization initiatives, reporting, and cross-team coordination to accelerate team effectiveness and ensure consistent delivery against growth goals.

Education and Experience
The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Background in subscription services, digital marketing, performance marketing, or related disciplines is preferred, along with experience using analytics platforms, experimentation tools, and subscription or lifecycle marketing.

Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires on-site or hybrid work.
The pay for this W-2 position is $76.04 per hour.
The position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
