Key Responsibilities:




      • Manage approximately 50+ drivers ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
      • Driver Management:

        • Work hand-in-hand with onsite dispatcher in the same room for seamless coordination.
        • Oversee paperwork and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
        • Monitor driver performance to meet client expectations and complete runs correctly.
        • Act as liaison between drivers and client to maintain excellent relationships.
        • Be proactive in addressing issues and improving processes.


      • Maintain strong collaboration with dispatchers and client teams to ensure smooth operations.


      • Light Recruitment:

        • Hire CDL drivers; manage candidate inventory through daily recruiting, screening, and interviewing.
        • Conduct new hire orientations and first-day check-ins.
        • Audit onboarding requirements and confirm compliance.


      • Communicate workforce needs to client, including labor market insights for staffing solutions.
      • Participate in client forecasting meetings to stay informed on current and upcoming business needs.
      • Manage daily attendance and headcount reports.
      • May process weekly payroll and maintain timeclock database.
      • Document and investigate safety incidents; participate in client meetings on safety and operational efficiency.
      • Handle worker's compensation claims and unemployment documentation.
      • Develop and maintain rapport with management and supervisors for consistency across departments.
      • Initiate and complete client relationship mapping as needed.
      • Create and analyze reports to identify workforce challenges; escalate and collaborate on solutions using CRM, Power BI, and time/attendance software.
      • Coach associates on policies with potential legal implications; involve onsite HR and lead investigations.
      • Conduct employee performance reviews and manage assignment lifecycle.





Requirements:


    • MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION EXPERIENCE
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with dispatchers and clients in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with CDL driver recruitment and onboarding.
    • Proficiency in workforce management tools (CRM, Power BI, time/attendance systems)
    • MS Office
    • Tech Savvy




The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $75,000.00 + commission. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
