Hill International is seeking a Project Manager I in Miami, Florida
- Coordinate design, construction, and closeout activities for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with SBBC standards, SREF, and applicable codes.
- Track project progress against approved schedule and budget; identify and resolve variances.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitate communication between architects, engineers, contractors, and district staff.
- Monitor contractor performance and enforce contract requirements.
- Support procurement activities and review pay applications for accuracy.
- Ensure timely completion of punch lists and warranty documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Associate's degree may be considered with additional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, architecture, or engineering.
- Experience managing design and construction phases for commercial or educational facilities.
- PMP Certification or LEED Accreditation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e-Builder/Trimble Unity Construct, Primavera P6, Bluebeam) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to analyze schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Familiarity with SREF, Florida Building Code, and SBBC standards.
- Understanding of contract administration and quality control practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Frequent site visits to active construction projects.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments.
