Overview

To compile, research, analyze, and document data, requirements, workflow / processes, and functionality for respective ETS group. To develop and evaluate information and prepare recommendations. To partner with Technology Product Owner (TPO) in the creation, management, and maintenance of product boards and product backlogs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology product stakeholders to understand business requirements, define success criteria for products, and align features to the product roadmap and strategic initiatives
  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements conforming to established standards leveraging effective requirements analysis techniques including requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, use cases, scenarios, story boards, surveys, data analysis, competitive research, etc.
  • Present requirements using alternative views including analysis models, prototypes, or scenarios to facilitate communication of requirements with stakeholders
  • Refinement and prioritization of product backlogs consisting of Epics, Features, Stories, Non-Functional Requirements, and Defects organized on the product board
  • Organize work items into sprints based on prioritization and alignment to the product roadmap
  • Manage requirements traceability and requirement changes through effective application of change management practices
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to understand system features and capabilities
  • Participate in third-party vendor evaluation and selection (e.g. RFP)
  • Contribute to continuous practice improvement efforts focused on improving quality and delivering business value
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, other related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Advanced skill transforming business requirements into technology solutions leveraging research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in data analysis and data mapping
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Advanced knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle
  • Knowledge and understanding in cloud native platforms and technologies (e.g. Azure)
  • Proficient in MS Office tools including advanced knowledge of Excel and Visio to produce diagrams (e.g. process flow, context diagram)
  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present information technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely
  • Effective in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience working with all level of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
  • Experience developing and delivering effective presentations using virtual collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft Tools)
  • Effective relationship building, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgement to make sound decisions
  • Ability to work on large, complex projects and initiatives with little direction
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of NFCU products, services, operations, processes, and procedures

  • Experience in technology product management

  • Experience with agile delivery frameworks, such as Azure DevOps

  • Advanced knowledge of financial industry standards and practices

  • Experience in digital banking transformation

  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
