DUTIES: Work in an agile environment within a DEVOPS team; Model scalable BI solutions that help deliver quick insights; Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward; Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements which includes automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing data model for greater scalability and performance; Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in real-time to provide guidance on necessary updates in code and UI; Perform data validations and QA of own work and the work of team members as required; Document business logic, program code and track changes to enable cross training and usability; Own projects and processes end to end as required, to help manage product support independently; Utilize SSIS, Excel, and other in-house tools/functions to Extract Transform, Load and analyze data with built in exception handling; Work with Analytics leadership, product management and development teams to elicit, analyze, and document user requirements, translating them into user stories; Collaborate with the Product Managers and other stakeholders to ensure health of the product backlog; Own the lifecycle of one or more products built by the team; Participate in Agile ceremonies, facilitating the discussion during planning and user story refinement; Provide reasonable estimates for work products; Collaborate with development team and ensure the design meets user requirements; Provide timely answers to team questions during design, development, and QA testing; Create SQL statements and analyze the resultant data; triage discrepancies found during the QA process; Field questions from stakeholders/end users during user acceptance testing, identify potential options to aid in the resolution process; Work with business owners and technical architects to set a strategic product direction and scope out project efforts; Follow established procedures and recommend new procedures for team standards; Utilize and evaluate metrics to identify and implement improvements to standards and procedures; Establish working relationships with stakeholders and build rapport to become a trusted advisor; Leverage available tools & templates to develop detailed work plans and status reports; Appropriately make difficult trade-offs on time and resources when faced with conflicting demands and high priority deadlines; and Communicate project expectations, updates and potential risks to team members and all stakeholders, while providing appropriate resolution/recommendations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, Management, or directly related field of study and 3 years related experience. Must also have each of the following (which may have been gained concurrently): (1) 3 years experience in leading requirement analysis, evaluating application and business process impacts, and assessing cross-application dependencies; (2) 3 years experience in writing SQL queries, analyzing data outputs, troubleshooting validation discrepancies, and addressing stakeholder inquiries during UAT; (3) 2 years experience working in Agile environments including gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating requirements into user stories and tasks; (4) 2 years experience in Power BI datasets, including data aggregation, filtering, and sorting; (5) 2 years experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to organize, structure, and interpret complex datasets in alignment with business requirements; and (6) 2 years experience in translating complex business concepts into clear and concise language.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, Management, or directly related field of study and 5 years related experience. Must also have each of the following (which may have been gained concurrently): (1) 5 years experience in leading requirement analysis, evaluating application and business process impacts, and assessing cross-application dependencies; (2) 5 years experience in writing SQL queries, analyzing data outputs, troubleshooting validation discrepancies, and addressing stakeholder inquiries during UAT; (3) 2 years experience working in Agile environments including gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating requirements into user stories and tasks; (4) 2 years experience in Power BI datasets, including data aggregation, filtering, and sorting; (5) 2 years experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to organize, structure, and interpret complex datasets in alignment with business requirements; and (6) 2 years experience in translating complex business concepts into clear and concise language. Salary: $141,773 to $160.000/year. Full-time, position located in Irving, TX. Hybrid position. Must reside within commuting distance from the employer's Irving, TX office.
