The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Reporting to the Executive Director, Administration & Operations (ED), the Senior Finance Administrator leads Student Group Administration (SGA) for the division. This entails a wide range of administrative, operations, and financial support to the Inter-School Governing Board (IGB) and the Community Impact Governing Board (CIGB). The Senior Finance Administrator also supports and ensures the smooth execution of day-to-day operations related to finance within Administration and Operations, acting as a key liaison between the Rules Administration and the University Life teams. The Senior Finance Administrator is charged with processing, reconciling, and approving financial transactions, and providing periodical financial reports for the Rules office, IGB, CIGB, and the advisors. Primary responsibilities include a wide range of financial process management, including initiating, reviewing, approving, and tracking financial transactions and managing the budget for both IGB and CIGB student groups, Rules Administration, and University Delegate appointments and payments. Their comprehensive oversight of both HR (additional compensation) and financial processes ensures the department functions efficiently and in compliance with university policy and standards. This position also has oversight of grants-related processes and protocols for the division.
