Workstation Support I

Role: Field IT Support
Location: Columbus, IN 47201 - Onsite - 5 days/ week
Contract: 3+ years contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Field IT Support to provide hands-on technical support in field-based IT support, resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting end users in a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to system operation, network connectivity, and user access.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users across multiple locations.
• Document service requests, resolutions, and inventory changes.
• Assist users with system operations and basic training as needed.
• Travel to assigned sites using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed per company policy).

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in field IT support, desktop support, or technical services.
• Strong understanding of PC hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
