U.S. Facilities, Inc., an integrated facility management company, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to provide a single point of contact for all building customers and act as their liaison to other service providers.


The Maintenance Coordinator plans, directs, coordinates, and controls all facility maintenance to ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions for the facility including grounds, facility and facility systems.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:



  • Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain facilities and grounds.
  • Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
  • Establishes and maintains a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
  • Hires contractors or subcontractors to perform maintenance work to specialized or extensive to be performed by the maintenance staff.
  • Ensures all permits/licenses are maintained.
  • Performs routine inspections of all systems and equipment.
  • Plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and controls the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed related to the performance of the maintenance function.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental standards are strictly adhered to within the facilities.
  • Establishes and communicates the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:




  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate degree in construction, electrical or mechanical engineering or business preferred, but experience in skilled trades will be considered.
  • Experience in managing OSHA compliant safety programs and maintaining environmental compliance related to facility operations
  • Must have experience with CMMS and Project Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Facility preferred.
