Job Description: The MEP Estimator - Mission Critical position provides estimating management and support during the preconstruction process. This position focuses on the creation and analysis of detailed cost information for MEP scopes of work. Some things you can expect to do:
Work with project managers to develop conceptual and detailed estimates at varying stages of design for the MEP scopes of work. Perform quantity take-offs of all MEP systems. Create project estimates individually and with a team. Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bid proposals. Scope and select subcontractors based on best value and project requirements. Record final estimates and maintain cost history. Support the development, architectural, and construction team with preconstruction expertise including value design, costs, project schedule, procurement, and project pursuits. Train Cost Engineers and Project Management staff. Review and provide feedback on project estimates created by the project managers. Provide direction for understanding MEP project scope, market pricing, and available resources Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets of types. Capable of cost modeling using Uniformat II system costs
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural or Construction Management or experience in relevant field. 6+ years commercial construction experience. Knowledge of construction means and methods and able to read and understand project plans. Proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures. Be able to perform thoughtful and accurate quantity take offs, and summarize data in a meaningful way. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of design-build, CM at Risk, and best-value processes. Able to teach skills and knowledge to others. Knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, and procurement methods. Able to listen, prioritize, and value the opinions of others.

Have working knowledge of DESTINI Estimator, OST, Bluebeam, VICO, Navisworks, and Revit. Have Mission Critical Data Center project experience.
Eligibility:
Compensation: The salary range is $96,200 - $125,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Benefits:
