SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Planning and Scheduling Manager to join our Energy Storage Group that will be responsible for performing complex planning and scheduling assignments on highly complex or multiple projects, providing leadership and coordination of team members and processes, and overseeing project planning and scheduling strategies at both project and group levels. RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field Minimum twelve years of construction experience; experience as a project manager or superintendent is desirable Advanced knowledge of scheduling concepts, construction practices, project sequencing, and 4D visual planning methodologies Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills; ability to identify concerns in document reviews Knowledge of project management, contracting methods, buyout, and contracts Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving unprecedented problems on complex projects Strong organization, delegation, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple project teams Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and superior service rankings Basic understanding of project estimates for schedule development, cost loading, and resource loading Ability to interpret and implement customer scheduling specifications and contract requirements Ability to quickly understand complex projects at the proposal stage and develop strong project schedule strategies Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment Excellent analytical, problem-solving, oral and written communication, and public speaking skills Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans Excellent leadership and rapport-building skills with direct reports, team members, and customers Ability to travel as required based on operating group A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and conciergewith extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $136,600 MIN - $204,900 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
