As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide excellent customer service and communication to all individuals onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with site access requirements.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as directed.
• Assist with security-related procedures during drills, evacuations, or other emergency response activities as required by location protocols.
• Document all patrol activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
