Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the Flight Training Schedulers to provide effective scheduling of all required phases of Flight Training including Ground and Simulator Training, Operating Experience, Line Checks, Special Qualifications such as ETOPS and PIC Restrictions. Manage the cross training of the Flight Training Schedulers to ensure ABX can cover absences and career growth. Oversee the purchasing of Simulator Sessions from Vendors that comply with the contract agreements made with ATSG. Assist the Finance Department with documentation to analyze training expenses. Create and maintain procedure instructions on the processes that the Flight Training Schedulers will follow. Write and present educational power points for initial new hire and CA upgrade classes. Communicate with the FAA to obtain permission to proceed in their absence by using an ABX instructor. Set reasonable training footprints that can be achieved while tracking the success and setbacks of each class. Assist the Flight Training Schedulers with scheduling that complies with the CBA and ensure they are proficient.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the Flight Training Schedulers in daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work based on changing requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 year's general office experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills


PREFERRED:



  • Crew Scheduling experience
  • Proficient with current ABX CBA
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understand and familiar with FAR 121.500 subparts
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with applying pilot CBAs
  • Understand NetLine Crew / QTM
