Job Description




As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer serving a prominent financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include coordinating with team members, managing incident reports, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the coordination and dispatch of security-related personnel across the location, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor communication systems to receive and relay information regarding incidents, alarms, and emergencies to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of incidents, dispatch activity, and communications in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing guidance and direction to on-site staff as needed.
  • Support regular communication with on-site teams to help to deter potential security-related threats and address concerns as they arise.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees and/or visitors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to communicate relevant security-related information as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
