What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual occurrences or conditions to the appropriate personnel or authorities as required.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections and or 5+ years of Armed Security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if required by Texas law.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
